My weekend

Well, I ´ve had some great times this weeknd.
Yesterday (on Saturday) I was in the cinema to see new and the very last part of Twilight saga. Some people may think I am one of those stupid little girlies after my confession, but truth be told I loved it. It was funny, cheeky and some heads were ripped off  :) Great, right?! :)

The thing about Twilight saga and me is that I don´t even like the main characters. This may sound contradictory to my previous statement, but it´s true. I hate Bella, I find her stupid and way too hooked on Edward - I mean, what kind of a girl after she is dumped by her boyfriend goes to woods to lay there motionless and be saved by her father. It takes just a little brain to not be that stupid I think. And then there is Edward. When I first read the books, there weren´t the films out yet, so I expected some very good looking guy to act that role. Maybe it´s just me, but I really don´t find him atractive. And he spoiled my idea of great looking vampire + this sparkly thing abut vampires is quite weird, but there I should probaby blame the author. The third one is Jacob. I don´t like him either. At least he is better looking (thanks for that), but probably just the fact that he wants to get Bella on big muscles and a bike, seems a bit showing off to me.

Twilight lovers will hate me for that, but that´s how I see it. And still, the movie was cool. I had lot of fun. and at least there is one character that I like - Emmett :)

After the movie we were at a local pizza place. I had a very nice evening with my sister and my potential brother in law.

Today I have been doing my best to avoid the moment when I would need to start my homework. I cooked a nice meal, I cleaned a huge pile of dishes, I had a lovely skype chat with my bestie, who is studying in Berlin ATM. We promised to talk soon again, so I hope we will get to that.

Then I started with my translation. I don´t think I mentioned it before, but I´m studying translation and interpretating English language and culture combined with my mother tongue Slovak language and literature. So, I did this translation of a magazine article. It wouldn´t be that bad if my lecturer wouldn´t be a pain in the ass (sorry for my language). Therefore, with every translated sentence I heard his voice saying: "How could you ranslate it like that?! Horrible!" Well, you get the idea. I´ve gotten used to ignore him most of the time, but sometimes I don´t have enough strenght. The nicest (and I think the only) comment I got from him was: "You think, I like that." When we were talking about something maths connected (I always liked maths and I still do - I am a complete weirdo now :) )

But at least I finished that translation, so now I only need to do zillion other things for this week. I am already freaking out because of the test we are having on Wednesday. I need to do better than in the last one, or I will be in trouble and even more stress. Please, keep your fingers crossed :)

It´s like half past two (in the night) I should probably go to bed. Too much studying waiting for me tomorrow...
